Employment Partner Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Partner Attorney to oversee and manage various employment-related matters within our organization. This pivotal role involves providing expert legal representation and advice, managing employment contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and engaging in both litigation and alternative dispute resolutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a robust background in employment law, capable of fostering a compliant and efficient workplace environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide legal representation and advice to our organization on a broad range of employment issues, including but not limited to employment litigation, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.

Create, evaluate, and manage employment contracts and agreements to ensure clarity, compliance, and fairness in all terms of employment.

Offer day-to-day employment counseling on matters such as wage and hour compliance, discrimination, sexual harassment, and employee safety.

Manage and conduct litigation in state and federal courts, demonstrating expertise and securing favorable outcomes for the organization.

Advise on and implement employee policies and training programs that align with current legal standards and promote a positive organizational culture.

Handle administration of employee benefits, leaves of absence, and accommodations, ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency.

Conduct and oversee internal and governmental investigations related to employment practices and allegations.

Navigate complex labor relations, negotiating and managing disputes effectively while maintaining organizational reputation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and a valid attorney's license.

Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in employment law with a proven track record in employment litigation and employment advisory roles.

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective legal strategies.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in class action lawsuits and wage and hour collective/class actions.

Proven ability to conduct thorough internal audits and investigations.

Expertise in employee benefits litigation and a comprehensive understanding of labor relations.

Background in managing external counsel and reducing legal expenses.

Experience with international labor standards and regulations, particularly beneficial for global organizations.
