We are seeking to meet paralegals interested in onsite and hybrid roles in the Washington DC area.Pay range:
$50,000-100,000, depending on the position and experience.SAMPLE JOB DUTIES:Tracking and managing the flow of documents and other investigative, litigation, or case-related materials.Liaising with agency legal services and section data management with respect to uploading, organizing, filtering, reviewing, and transferring or producing documents and electronically stored information.Performing document review in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Everlaw.Assisting in trial preparation including scheduling interviews, hearings, witnesses, depositions, and other related discussions.Assisting with research, writing, and related tasks such as creating first drafts of documents such as memos, subpoenas, and discovery cover letters.SECURITY CLEARANCE:Must be eligible to obtain a government clearance. Most of our positions require a Public Trust, though some do require a higher level of active clearance.Most positions require that you must be a US Citizen.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.Must be willing to work onsite in central Washington, DC on a fully onsite or hybrid schedule (will be dependent upon position).Paralegal certificate or one to two years (1-2 years) of experience as a paralegal.Experience working with a federal or state legal entity preferred, but not required.Must have a working knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and WestLaw.Proficient in litigation discovery software and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work well within groups handling large volumes of work.Ability to work independently.John J.
