Implement the LRE Safety Management System (SMS) on wind, solar, and battery storage projects in the US.
Specific Duties:
Promotes company safety culture through coaching, development, influence, and training.Subject matter expert and liaison for health and safety for the O&M team.Manage daily, weekly, and monthly goals and tasks for sub-tier contractors working on LRE plant locations.Assist in development of Risk Assessments and Work Instructions.Deliver training on Safety Initiatives and regulatory requirements.Audit LRE O&M locations to verify consistency with procedural and regulatory requirements.Communicate safety related incidents across the O&M business unit.Assist in leading incident investigations to determine root causes and recommend appropriate corrective actions.Assist in developing incident reports to support findings from incident investigations.Assist EHS Department in the development of EHS Bulletins to help create awareness across the O&M business unit and organization.Maintain incident data and safety metrics to compile trends and reports.Schedule, facilitate annual corporate EHS site audits.Performs any other job-related duties/functions requested by the Director of EHS, Quality and Training.Knowledge and Skills:

CSP Certification (preferred)CHST Certification (required)OSHA 30 (required)OSHA 500 (preferred)10+ years of construction EHS experience (required)5+ years of renewable energy experience (preferred)Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)Valid driver’s license (required)FA/CPR/AED Certification (preferred)Fall Prevention/Climbing/Rescue Training (preferred)Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
The work environment and physical demands characteristics are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Performs primarily sedentary office duties with travel to other LRE offices. Occasionally lifts to 50 pounds and required to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer.Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also required.Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug test as a condition of employment.
