Position overview
Reporting directly into our organization’s E-Commerce Director, the Sr. PPC Specialist is responsible for managing the paid, on-line search marketing efforts of our primary products and brands.
The incumbent also ensures that the company’s online ads are being displayed in a way that is consistent with its overall marketing strategy and brand image.
The Sr. PPC specialist is also responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s PPC accounts, which includes setting up ad groups, keywords, and other elements that help define how the company’s ads will appear online.
Primary Responsibilities
Creating and managing pay per click (PPC) campaigns, including creating ads and keywords, setting budgets and bids, setting up landing pages, and analyzing results.
Managing complex pay-per-click and display advertising campaigns with thousands of targeting options per account.
Utilize Amazon’s Advertising Console dashboards to identify opportunities and optimize PPC advertising campaigns on a daily/weekly basis. Use additional third-party software to perform keyword research and implement automated optimization tactics.
Coordinate, align and define strategies (brand protection, SEO, organic marketing) with other team members and departments.
Researching keyword trends to determine which terms will be most effective for future campaigns.
Monitoring performance of campaigns to ensure that they are achieving desired results.
Developing conversion rates by testing different ad text, designs, keywords, and offers.
Researching new advertising methods to determine their effectiveness and how they can be applied to future campaigns.
Analyzing historical data to determine which strategies have been successful in the past and which have not.
Provide high-level summaries and efficiently present in-depth analysis.

Keeping abreast of changes in the advertising industry by reading industry publications and participating in industry events
Identify trends within accounts and take appropriate action to course correct.
Incumbent not only delivers the data, but also identifies the story behind the data and develop the next steps to improve performance further.
Establishing and enforcing adherence to regulations set forth by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of experience with Pay Per Click advertising for a high volume of consumer products (hard goods, except food) on Amazon 3P required. (Consumer electronics experience preferred.)
High level of analytics and experience in online product advertising required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics and or marketing is strongly preferred.
Additional experience in Google Ads, Social Media advertising and other online marketplaces a plus
Creative, resourceful, and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team culture.
Advanced Amazon related tools strongly preferred (Helium 10, Jungle scout)
Ability to work well independently and be self-motivated
Attention to detail while also having the ability to handle multiple priorities
