The job of the editorial assistant is to work with the Editor in Chief of Felix Magazine.Responsibilities
Prepare memos, letters, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheets, database, or presentation software.Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.Attend meetings to record minutes.Qualifications
Technology skills (Microsoft Office, basic computer skills, phone skills, scanners, photocopiers).Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.Active listener: Give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.Service-oriented: Actively looking for ways to help people.Exhibits integrity and trust.Education
