Job DescriptionThe Director of WW Power Systems and Solution Marketing for Industrial and Mass Market will play a critical role in driving the marketing strategy, creation of marketing collateral, and promotion of power semiconductor solutions across various segments. These segments include industrial automation, building automation, renewable energy, energy storage systems (ESS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), portable power systems (PPS), metering, eMobilty (2, 3 Wheelers LV) and smart appliances. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these markets, strong technical expertise in power systems, and proven marketing skills.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy Development:• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Renesas power semiconductor solutions targeting industrial and mass market segments.• Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.Collateral Creation and Promotion:• Create compelling marketing collateral including white papers, case studies, brochures, and presentations that highlight the benefits and features of Renesas power semiconductor solutions.• Develop and execute promotional campaigns to increase market awareness and adoption of solutions.Solution Roadmap and Deliverables:• Collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams to define the solution roadmap based on market needs and technological advancements.• Deliver proof of concepts (PoCs), reference designs, and turnkey packages that include boards, graphical user interfaces (GUIs), and comprehensive documentation.• Ensure deliverables are designed to accelerate customers' design processes and reduce time to market.Customer Engagement and Support:• Engage with key customers to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and gather feedback to refine solutions.• Conduct training sessions and webinars to educate fields, sales and customers on solution features and benefits.Cross-functional Collaboration:• Work closely with sales, engineering, and product marketing teams to align solution marketing strategies with measurable business objectives.• Coordinate with external partners, industry organizations, distributors and other stakeholders to enhance solution offerings and market reach.Performance Tracking and Reporting:• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives thru DINs, Funnel increase and eventually conversion to revenue.• Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power systems or semiconductor marketing, with a strong background in industrial and mass market segments.• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.• Strong technical knowledge of power semiconductor solutions and applications.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling marketing messages.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.• Willingness to travel WW as needed.Preferred Skills:• Experience with renewable energy systems, energy storage systems, building and industrial automation, 2 and 3 Wheelers and smart appliances.• Marketing of products and solutions, strategic thinking, program management.Company DescriptionRenesas is one of the top global semiconductor companies in the world.
