CSUCI faculty are committed teacher-scholars who bring research and creative discovery to problems of practice in education settings.The successful candidate is also responsible for producing scholarship commensurate with the requirements at rank, to contribute to and participate in the life and development of the school and department, advise students, serve on committees, and participate in the broader university and counseling and psychology-relevant regional and national communities and organizations.Required Qualifications:Possession of a Pupil Personnel Services or equivalent credential or licensure from any US stateTwo years of experience in P-12 school counseling and/or school psychology or educational leadership relevant to school counselingEvidence of experience in working with BIPOC students and other historically marginalized individualsA record of scholarly accomplishments appropriate to the rank appointedExperience with integration of technology in instructional programsEvidence of research, teaching, or practice regarding school counseling and/or school psychology issues important in BIPOC communitiesApplicants should demonstrate the commitment to effectively work with and engage a diverse student population.Responsibilities:CI faculty members are teacher/scholars who are expected to engage in an ongoing program of scholarship demonstrating intellectual and professional growth. Additionally, all faculty members are expected to assume an active collegial role in planning and governance through service on School of Education, department, and campus-wide committees.Application Deadline:Screening of applications will begin October 30, 2024.
