SCHEDULE

14 days on, 14 days off – Hitch Schedule

POSITION OVERVIEW – Offshore HSE Supervisor / Safety SupervisorAs an Offshore HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. This role requires a seasoned safety professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain high safety standards in an offshore environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement, monitor, and enforce safety programs and policies.

Ensure compliance with California regulatory requirements for offshore operations.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure a safe working environment.

Lead safety training sessions, emergency response drills, and toolbox talks for offshore personnel.

Provide leadership and guidance on industrial hygiene and environmental health matters.

Maintain safety records and prepare reports as required by regulatory bodies.

Collaborate with the operational teams to identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.

Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during offshore operations and personnel mobilizations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Extensive experience with California regulatory requirements (Cal/OSHA) for the oil and gas industry.

Experience with industrial hygiene practices and standards.

7+ years of offshore or oil and gas industry experience in an HSE supervisory role.

Proven track record of leading safety programs and initiatives in offshore environments.

Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Certifications in OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications are preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) Awareness and Response Training – due to potential exposure risks in offshore environments.

CPR/First Aid Certification – ensuring readiness for emergency response.
