ResponsibilitiesAssists in establishing a new private sector security clearance program which meets all requirements, initially and as the program matures, as outlined by OSO management.Assists in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and updates as necessary.Prepares correspondence, reports, briefings, and other documents and maintains appropriate files both hard and soft copies as required.Assists in ensuring content for the internal OSO Sharepoint site is created and kept up-to-date; processes forms and other information as applicable to the Private Sector Clearance Program and ensures all information is provided in a timely manner based on defined and documented timelines and/or as directed by OSO management.Receives in-bound and prepares out-bound communications to include Electronic Communications (EC), file records, publications, and other associated documentation.Assists with the preparation of final reports, including editing for errors, prepares appropriate charts, graphs, and presentations.Works closely with the Senior Personnel Security Specialist and assists in ensuring all functions and tasks associated with the PSEP are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Adjudication experience is not required as training will be provided in order to function as the backup for the Senior Personnel Security Specialist as needed.
QualificationsActive TS Clearance with SCI Eligible.Bachelor’s degree in security, business, intelligence, or related field required.
