The Co-Op begins in January, 2025. This position is part of a team responsible for effective and efficient operations of Nordson’s IT infrastructure. This role contributes as an infrastructure Co-Op that has the willingness/attitude to learn new skills to support our infrastructure team. Responsible for working with the team to plan, design, deploy, configure, test, document, and support infrastructure projects.
Designs, installs, configures, tests, supports, and manages the integration systems of servers, load balancers, storage arrays, virtual environments, operating systems, networks, core infrastructure hardware, software, and integration points to adapt with the advancement of technology. Create and maintain process and design documentation. Maintain the datacenter infrastructure stable and reliable by performing monitoring logs/performance, upgrades, and firmware/OS patching. Keep backup system including monitoring logs/storage, action on alerts, break fix, and restores. Work with other departments to keep datacenter up to current technology and corporate standards. Familiarity with SolarWinds Orion, vCenter, and ServiceNow.
