We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA). The SFA will report to the VP of Finance and help with all aspects of financial forecasting, reporting, analysis, strategic decision support, and assist with month end close processes. The SFA must have an extensive background with excel and financial modeling - and a strong desire to provide analysis for key decisions across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Become a key member of our finance team, where you will perform various FP&A processes to support key strategic decisions, drive growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management, investors, and the Board of Directors.
Active participation in month close processes.
Own and improve on Elsmere Education's consolidated three-statement financial model.
Partner with department leaders on actual vs. budget variance analysis.
Proactively identify potential risks to future growth and revenue by monitoring KPIs.
Partner with University Partnerships team to build financial models for new clients.
Assist with new pricing and TAM/SAM analysis for our new EPaaS technology offering.
Perform extensive decision support for key business initiatives, including internal and external (M&A) investment thesis.
Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or experience with financial modeling.
Experience building Board of Directors presentations, investor relations, and M&A analysis.
Exceptional Excel technical capabilities, love of spreadsheets, and financial modeling.
Experience with QuickBooks and Ramp is a plus.
BA or BS in Finance or Accounting.
Self-starter, ability to thrive, and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands to meet deadlines.
High level of maturity to handle sensitive financial information.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
High-energy, good reader and writer, entrepreneurial, talented, not easily bored, competitive.
