Large Non-profit organization located in NYC needs:Sr. Director of Finance (Non-Profit)

managing all financial and administrative functions.Reportingdirectly to the COO, will provide direction, hands-on management, andcontinual improvement of day-to-day financial operations andadministration systemswill focus on overall management of the unit, as well as budgeting, financial management and reporting, and accounting.Management of Administration will ensure a smoothly running office environment.Responsibilities:Budgeting and Financial Managementlead the annual budget process and mid-year reforcast for all programs.Ona monthly basis, provide accurate and timely financials, reports andother information that will continually support the operations andbusiness plans of each program.Provideanalysis of complex situations, prepare formal presentations, andpresent to senior management and Board of Directors on the overallfinancial health of the organizations.Workwith Development Unit to prepare budgets for fundingapplications.Manage the administration of grant programs including, theapplication, award and monitoring functions.AccountingProvide leadership and guidance to the accounting team to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions.Continuallyassess, improve and document general accounting, accounts receivable,cash receipts, accounts payable, and cash disbursement controls andprocedures.Oversee annual audits, regulatory, compliance, and tax filings.Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly and annual financial statements.Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds when needed.Office AdministrationOverseeand supervise the administrative function of the organizationincluding reception, property/facility management, and provision offurnishings and equipment necessary for effective operations.Oversee the management of all leases, contracts and other financial commitments.Oversee planning of organization events.Requirements:MBA, CPA or other advanced degree required.Minimum 10+ years of financial experience.Experience in the

not-for-profit

sector preferred.Strong technical skills.Experience with

Abila/MIP
