Role Overview

We are looking for a Head of Finance. As the head of Titan’s Finance team, you will help build and manage disciplined and accurate FP&A processes - budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews with leadership, and long-term planning. You will track, report, and communicate progress against budget/plan with business stakeholders and leadership team on a monthly basis. You will also manage both the Finance / Accounting and Business Operations teams to effectively scale the business from both an operational and strategy perspective.

What You'll Do

Build and manage disciplined and accurate financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes - budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews with senior leadership, board deck prep, and long-term planning

Own the day-to-day finance function (including bill pay, vendor management, expense management and allocation, payment initiation, payroll operations)

Project manage cross-functional financial improvement projects that will increase top-line revenue, reduce operating costs, and boost returns on invested capital

Collaborate with leaders across the company to identify and execute on financial opportunities, from Growth to Engineering to HR and beyond

Develop and implement enhanced accounts payable and expense reimbursement controls, policies, and procedures that will scale with growth

Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in investment banking or corporate finance, running forecasting, budget/expense management, and investment decisions, plus experience at a high-growth startup

Bachelor’s degree and a record of academic achievement

Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships

Highly effective written and communication skills

Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, and/or SQL

Knowledge of financial modeling and accounting principles

Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

Ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership

Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects

CFP / CPA is a plus

Compensation:

Anticipated annual salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 plus company stock options + benefits (see above).

This salary range represents Titan’s reasonable estimated possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

The final salary for this position will be determined in sole discretion of Titan, depending on applicable laws, and based on a variety of factors, such as employee’s work experience, skills, qualifications for the role, and location, and may differ from the amounts listed above.
