Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of data engineering experienceExperience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesExperience with SQLExperience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJSExperience mentoring team members on best practices
Key Job Responsibilities:Set the technical strategy for the teamLead complex technical initiatives within the teamExplore technical needs and bring solutions to the tableGather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture.Assist in developing project plans and commitments, and then deliver consistently against those commitments.Build good working relationships within the team by communicating clearly both verbally and in writingContinuously optimize solutions to improve overall Platform performance, availability and fault toleranceDrive Operational excellence through metrics driven approachUnderstand customer pain points, build solutions to make large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable by applications and teamsMentor and lead developers by cultivating curiosity, deep technical understanding through collaboration, code reviews, and leading by example.Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMRExperience operating large data warehouses

The base pay for this position ranges from $139,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,500/year in our highest geographic market.
