Senior Data Architect & Engineer .HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect & Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise data architecture and engineering initiatives. This role combines high-level architectural thinking with hands-on engineering expertise to create scalable, efficient, and innovative data solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation while leading data initiatives across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & StrategyDesign and implement comprehensive enterprise data architectures that ensure scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.Develop and maintain data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.Create and oversee implementation of data governance frameworks and policies.Lead technical decision-making for data platform selection and integration strategies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Engineering & ImplementationArchitect and implement end-to-end data pipelines using cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure).Design and optimize data models for both operational and analytical systems.Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow and cloud-native tools.Implement big data processing solutions using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-native services.Build and optimize data warehousing solutions using platforms like BigQuery.Establish data quality frameworks and monitoring systems.Leadership & CommunicationPartner with business leaders to align data initiatives with organizational goals.Mentor and provide technical guidance to data engineering team members.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives.Create and present technical documentation and architecture proposals.Lead cross-functional teams in implementing data solutions.Required Skills & QualificationTechnical ExpertiseExpert knowledge of data architecture principles and patterns.Extensive experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure).Advanced knowledge of data modeling and database design.Proven experience with big data technologies and distributed systems.Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.Expert-level SQL knowledge.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.Tools & TechnologiesCloud Platforms:
GCP (BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Cloud Storage), AWS, or Azure.Data Processing:
Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem.Workflow Orchestration:
Apache Airflow.Data Modeling:
