The salary range for this position is $79,837.78 to $129,406.69 for Schedule A, and $79,837.78 to $122,936.36 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule B.The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth.The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an individual to supervise/lead a professional MVS Systems Programming staff in our IBM mainframe SYSPLEX environment running z/OS 2.3 with the opportunity to use multi-platform technology as well as develop requirements, analyze, program, test, implement and resolve technical problems associated with the New Jersey Court systems. This position will be concentrated on, but not limited to, work in mainframe systems programming support, maintenance, capacity planning, hardware implementation, and disaster recovery. Mainframe UNIX, CICS, DB2, MQ, Workload Manager, HCD/IOCP, SMP/e, JCL and other mainframe technologies will be utilized extensively. Experience with z/OS 2.x, JES2, SMP/e, REXX, ISPF, IBM Utilities, TSO is strongly preferred.REMOTE WORK:

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.Provide technical support for the mainframe platformProvide technical support for z/OS v 2.5 and all program products running on the mainframeOperating and Subsystem Software SupportAcknowledge and respond to all reported and observed anomalies on the platformProvide technical support for the legacy development staff and program productsApply license keys for all productsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of professional experience, two (2) years of which shall have included experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting information technology systems and services in the mainframe, server, and network environments. May include analyzing and resolving complex technical problems; generating and testing applications code; performing database administration; administering data security; operating enterprise computer systems; contingency planning, implementing telecommunications facilities; and developing and/or conducting training on IT systems, concepts, applications, policies, or security.Substitution:

Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year for year basis with one (1) year of such experience being equal to thirty (30) semester hour credits. An Associate's Degree and two (2) years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. A Master's Degree may be substituted for one (1) year of general experience as indicated above. A Law Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of general experience as indicated above.Education Note:

Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service.Driver's License:

Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.Authorization to Work:
