Position Overview:The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of personal injury law firm experience. You must be able to travel throughout all of California to attend court hearings and depositions, litigate trials, and conduct arbitrations. Prior experience is crucial. Our client will consider both Plaintiff and Defense attorneys for this position.
Compensation:Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in personal injury cases, including negotiations and litigation.Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Attend court hearings, depositions, and arbitrations across California.Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build strong cases.Maintain comprehensive case files and documentation.Provide exceptional client service and maintain communication throughout the legal process.Assist in trial preparation and strategy development.Mentor and guide junior staff and paralegals in case management.
Qualifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.A strong work ethic and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within a team environment.Passion for representing injured clients against insurance companies.Previous experience in personal injury litigation cases.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to be a leader and effectively guide all team members within the departments you manage.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).Familiarity with case management software.Strong knowledge of California personal injury law and litigation procedures.Experience with drafting legal documents and pleadings.Ability to analyze and interpret medical records and reports.Competence in negotiation and settlement strategies.Skilled in trial preparation and courtroom presentation.
