We have an opportunity for an Equity Compensation Specialist.This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain a broad perspective of McDonald's Global Business Services (GBS) Finance Tower by joining the Equity Compensation Area. In addition to Equity Compensation, the GBS Finance Tower is made up of a number of areas including but not limited to Payroll, Payroll Tax, the 401K team, Insurance and Shareholder Services.GBS provides services to over 125,000 active McDonald's employees, former employees in the US and Canada and McDonald’s company owned restaurants and Regional and Divisional offices. GBS is focused on delivering 100% Customer Satisfaction in a timely, high quality and accurate manner while ensuring adherence to internal controls.This person will perform various payroll tax related activities for US/Canada including, but not limited to:Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external contacts for tax related and reporting requirements on Equity Compensation.Perform detailed analysis for domestic and global employee complex tax & accounting scenarios related to Equity Compensation, including those on assignment, working closely with Global Mobility and external partners.Ensure compliance of current internal controls, multi-jurisdictional regulations, and global tax code.Review and reconcile equity and related payroll taxes to the general ledger, including preparing journal entries.Perform quarterly trial balance and monthly account analysis.Responsible for end-to-end equity transactions, including Balance Sheet/Income Statement impact and processing transactions in various systems.Backup the team for ADP Stock reconciliation and Canada functions.Complete Ad hoc reporting/projects.Understanding and proficient with the Equity Systems and the associated reporting.Responsible for special circumstances, quarterly, and annual tasks, such as annual restricted stock units lapse and dividend equivalent unit (DEU).Auditing responsibilities/vendor filings.Respond to US/International inquiries as necessary.The salary range for the role is $58,460 - $70,150 per year.Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience, specifically with account reconciliations and analysis.Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.Experience with the Oracle HCM Payroll System, ADP Employment Tax Service, Oracle eBusiness Suite and Accounting Tools preferred.US payroll tax experience preferred.Strong problem solving, analytical and customer service skills to achieve quality goals.Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task to achieve performance goals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaborate well as a team member.Ability to accurately analyze complex and detailed data to achieve quality results.Advanced-level skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.Additional Information:
