About the role:
AvePoint is currently seeking a dynamic and energetic GTM Compensation Manager focusing on compensation planning and commissions for our global organization. This position will sit in our Global Headquarters in Jersey City, NJ, leading our global commission function and the end-to-end process of compensation plan design, calculation, and delivery for the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead AvePoint's global commission practice with the goal of scaling and increasing efficiency in our GTM variable compensation practice.
Analyze, design, and manage annual compensation plan process and other compensation components alongside the company's internal compensation committee.
Liaise closely with Sales Operations and HRBP teams to ensure timely plan procedures including obtaining quotas and on-target compensation targets.
Continuously assess and improve commission processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
Work closely with CRM, Analytics and Finance teams on various requests.
Enable expertise in commission software to administer new plan requirements.
Prepare, review, and submit monthly accrual and payment reports accurately.
Troubleshoot issues and configure new plan rules each year.
Regularly audit commission data to maintain SOX controls and procedures.
Ensure timely and accurate commission payments to eligible colleagues.
Collaborate with the field teams to address inquiries, concerns, and discrepancies related to commission calculations and payments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience
8-10 years of sales operations and/or variable compensation experience in SaaS
Team lead/managerial experience, with the ability to build, maintain, and motivate a high-performing team
Compensation design experience a must
Experience with CRM systems; Dynamics preferred
Experience with Everstage and/or similar compensation management tool
Excellent partnering skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to meet strict deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Clear and thoughtful communication in discussing and sharing sensitive performance and compensation data with a range of business functions
Strong organizational skills working with large quantities of data
