Human Resources Director Position:
Full Time for a Busy Multi-Department Clinic, located in
Burlington, NC .
Job Description:
Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with Clinics in Burlington, Mebane and Elon. We are a community leader that offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for our 375 employees. Kernodle Clinic is a multi-specialty practice with approximately 100 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers located just off I-40/I-85. Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington.
We are currently seeking qualified individuals for a Human Resources Director position for the HR Department within Kernodle Clinic. This key leadership position is primarily responsible for strategic planning, directing, and coordinating human resources activities, policies, and programs for Kernodle Clinic, overseeing and managing three HR staff members.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
Five years of experience in Human Resources or a related field required.
Experience in a healthcare sector preferred.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certifications preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate with individuals to develop strong working relationships.
Strong communication skills and ability to present information within group settings.
Duties Include:
Oversight of hiring and onboarding new employees.
Develops and implements HR policies.
Ensures company remains in compliance with laws and regulations.
Collaborates with Senior Leadership Team and Physician Board Members to align HR policies with the company’s strategic goals.
Plans and executes HR functions strategically, such as compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, occupational safety, employee communications, and employee relations.
Develops and manages the budget for the human resources department.
Collaborates with Department Supervisors to determine headcount budgets and staffing needs.
Provides assistance and guidance to department supervisors regarding Human Resources issues.
Collaborates with Department Supervisors on disciplinary and termination processes.
In collaboration with the Administrator, plans and administers the wage and salary programs.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all Human Resources issues and records.
