We are committed to hiring the best of the best, and in return, we offer a world-class, truly unique employee experience that is rare within our industry.Provides expertise in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for supporting the CASA Compute Environment (CCE) SaaS team and mission services. The CCE provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. Some of the services include SPARTANDESK, Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, MinIO, and several other products. The Software Integration Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, and assist customers using the CCE. Additional tasking shall include customer support to CCE customers across several Hustle channels and via help desk tickets.Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
Ability to integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.Generate documentation for the full software stack.Update software for sustainment support.Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraphBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.OR
The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.Required Technical Skills
Experience using the Linux CLIExperience with Bash/Python scriptingExperience creating containerized applications/services using Docker/containerdExperience migrating applications into containerized environmentsExperience with creating Helm Charts for KubernetesExperience with deploying and maintaining services on KubernetesExperience with creating and managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelinesExperience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting supportExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Technical Skills
