Responsibilities

A professional demeanor, good coaching/counseling skills, good judgment and a genuine desire to facilitate positive outcomes are required. Primary responsibilities include partnering with the management team to provide support and guidance and execute talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning. The Human Resources Partner leads and individually contributes to the full lifecycle recruitment process with overall responsibility to attract, retain, develop and engage a talented and diverse workforce for organizational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance within assigned internal client groups. Other responsibilities include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Office.Talent Acquisition:

Actively participates in the talent acquisition and onboarding process of new candidates, which includes managing the acquisition process including posting of positions, interviewing, conducting pre-employment processes, reference checking, creating & making job offers and assisting with new hire paperwork. Guides managers through the established process of requesting additional staff when appropriate. Partners with Human Resources team and Hiring Manager to coordinate with outside agencies to arrange for temporary service help as needed. Participates in job fairs, networks with schools and other bodies to identify new pools of talent for difficult to fill positions. Leads onboarding program.Advocate:

Serves as a colleague member advocate. Shares and interprets, when necessary, the guidelines of Canyon Ranch policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws. Supports colleagues and managers with the resolution of concerns and/or issues - employee relations. Conducts exit interviews and makes recommendations for improvement. Maintains and participates and creates as appropriate proactive programs to ensure colleague’s views, problems, issues, concerns etc. are heard and addressed as needed. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Maintains accurate documentation and records for all matters handled and ensures documents and procedures are in compliance with current legal requirements.Operations:

Assists Director with overseeing the day-to-day office operations and non-exempt staff.Partnering & Training:

Conduct weekly meetings to check in with each business area. Consult regularly with management and provide guidance when appropriate. Monitor training programs to ensure that training objectives are met. Work to improve workplace relationships and boost retention. Coach and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related field. Minimum 2-3 years experience as a HR Business Partner and/or Recruiter.Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization.Previous recruiting experience required as this is a Recruiting/ HR Generalist dual role.Must live within reasonable commuting distance to Lenox, MA or relocate to Lenox, MA (relocation assistance available).Other preferred qualifications include:Possesses strong understanding of common HR practices, procedures and laws.Demonstrates excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Possesses strong project management and organizational skills.Strong organizational, judgement, listening and time management skills.Excellent judgement & the ability to handle and maintain confidential information.Possesses a calm and approachable demeanor with excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills.Ability to develop & maintain strong working relationships with employees, guests, vendors, government agencies.Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving abilities.Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.WORK LOCATION:

This position will be onsite in Lenox, MA
