This position is responsible for employees across US, Bermuda, Cayman and BVI, working as part of the global Human Resources Business Partner Team. You will also be the global HR business partner for a service line ensuring a close working relationship with client facing teams providing strategic and operational HR support to build people capability and execute against business strategy and priorities.With one HR Business Partner for the region, you will be supported by a shared service team providing HR operations, recruitment, reward, and reporting expertise.Main ResponsibilitiesBuild a best-in-class HRBP capability in support of business priorities for the region.Build collaborative relationships with strategic internal clients to influence senior leaders in a collaborative manner to drive results outcomes.Develop understanding of strategic priorities and goals. Support the embedding of business strategy through providing strategic and operational HR support, solutions, and advice.Influence organisational design, job design and resource planning for the region and service line.Build and implement strategies to build business capability required to deliver premium quality client service and business growth.Coach leaders and managers, identify and develop top talent, facilitate conflicts and difficult discussions.Collect feedback to identify gaps in corporate culture, HR and management practices and address them.Manage people related risks, grievance, and compliance procedures.Support change, communicate change internally and gain trust of employees.Deliver key HR processes (performance management, annual review, succession planning) to drive business success.Take responsibility for leading and/or supporting a range of important HR projects, including career pathing, organisational design, employee engagement and retention, and culture change initiatives.Analyse HR data (trends, metrics, and insight) to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and to avoid future ones.Qualifications
Knowledge/ Skills/ ExperienceRelevant HR qualification - ideally SHRM-SCP.Degree level qualification in HR Management, Business Administration, or equivalent subject.Proven experience of developing and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and customer service.Experience of performance management and creating high performing teams.Proven experience of successfully leading and managing a team.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.Strong organisational skills, including planning and time management to enable effective prioritisation of multiple activities.Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite of applications.Working knowledge of Employment Law across the region is essential.Additional Information
