Job ID: 2666835 | Amazon.com Services LLCAmazon is looking for a strategic communications leader to join our Devices & Services PR team as Senior PR Manager for Kindle, Fire Tablets and Amazon Kids+. The role involves working with senior product leaders and requires extensive knowledge of consumer technology and digital entertainment services, as well as a background in driving high-impact stories that promote innovative new products/features, content services, and technologies.
You will work effectively in a matrixed global organization, quickly build effective working relationships, possess extensive media relations skills, and can exercise strategic instincts while moving fast. As part of the role, you will work with key business leaders and marketing teams to develop and execute proactive communications strategies that drive product awareness and build strategies that creatively and effectively illustrate product features and benefits.
This is a role high on Think Big, Bias for Action and Ownership—the successful candidate will be able to build a robust proactive roadmap of launch-related and proactive activities, work quickly, deliver results, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. You also need to be able to work collaboratively and productively with PR and business partners, with proven experience managing a team and external agencies.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related fieldPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High levels of creativity- Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Strong attention to detail- Extensive knowledge of the consumer, technology, content landscape(s)- Demonstrated ability to develop proactive and creative PR campaigns- Extensive experience promoting consumer products and brands- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment- Strong relationships with top-tier media and influencers- Ability to develop hooks/angles/campaigns that will be of interest to press- Able to inspire colleagues and agencies to deliver results at scaleAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $135,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $224,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.Posted:
