Autocomplete provides real-time suggestions as customers type in the search box. It serves as a virtual assistant on customers’ shopping journey. Our suggestions complete customers’ thoughts and help them to explore Amazon’s vast product offering. Spelling correction recovers the spelling errors in the queries, allowing customers to search effortlessly in any language they prefer, without worrying about making spelling mistakes. You will have the opportunities to leverage the latest developments in Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning to re-invent customers’ shopping experience. 3+ years of building models for business application experiencePhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experienceExperience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journalsExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languageExperience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
