As such, the Federation Relations Department works closely with those members to build awareness of top policy issues, generate grassroots momentum, and provide unique programs, information, and services that lead to sustained involvement in our public policy process.The Membership Manager is responsible for membership recruitment, marketing execution and retention of associations and chambers to support revenue goals and organizational programming.Responsibilities:Reach out to lapsed members and potential prospects, reigniting their interest in our organization.Conduct thorough background research on lapsed members and prospects to tailor your approach.Clearly communicate the unique advantages of Chamber membership to lapsed and prospective members via phone and in-person, when appropriate.Attain revenue goals on a monthly basis.Execute the marketing plan, including overseeing direct mailing campaigns in collaboration with our external mail vendor (YGS).Maintain and update the Salesforce database with current association and chamber contact information.Send relevant information to lapsed members and prospects as needed, ensuring they have all the details they require.Make follow-up calls to address any questions and further engage with lapsed members and prospects.Create invoices for membership as needed.Qualifications:3-5 years in membership development.Excellent verbal communication skills and professional telephone manner.The ability to follow up and follow through on requests for information in a timely manner.Able to work independently.An understanding of public policy issues and how they affect business.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in MS OfficeThe salary range for this position is $53,240.00 to $72,000.00 The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors.
