Are you a seasoned UX Designer, passionate about new technologies, driving change through data, and using customer-obsessed design processes to create innovative tools? If so, the FinAuto User Experience team is seeking a thoughtful and passionate Sr. UX Designer to help reimagine experiences for finance operations.

We are a diverse team building cutting-edge tools and systems to simplify and optimize finance shared services functions, as well as new opportunities to measure, control, and innovate experiences for our internal finance users. As a Sr. UX Designer, you'll be involved in all aspects of product development - from initial brainstorming sessions to define and design finance operations experiences, to working closely with product management, user research, engineering, and company leaders to tackle some of our most difficult finance operations challenges. You will work in a fast-paced and innovative setting, where ideas evolve and concepts turn into real solutions quickly.

As a responsive and trust-building leader in this space, you must be able to handle ambiguity, program complexity, and changes in emerging technologies, ensuring design-led programs drive meaningful change.

Key job responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design of delightful customer experiences for multiple products.Define, contribute, and maintain user-centric design processes that include market analysis, customer feedback, user interviews, usability testing, and UX metrics analysis.Provide UX research and design artifacts, including user personas, user journey maps, IA diagrams, flow diagrams, low-fi wireframes, hi-fi mockups, and interactive prototypes.Partner with the product teams to represent customer needs in the requirements development process.Present and defend design work to product owners, development teams, product teams, executives, and other product stakeholders for review and feedback.

A day in the lifeYou will work with product and engineering stakeholders closely on a day-to-day basis and collaborate with other UX designers on connecting individual features to a holistic experience. The UX Researcher team will support you in user research and UX content. You will share design work regularly for design team peer review, stakeholder review, and leadership.

About the teamAt Finance Automation (FinAuto), we build, operate, and scale systems that are responsible for hundreds of billions of dollars in transactions, and are central to the success of Amazon and its partners. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. PM-T working to build unified workbench products for our internal finance customers comprised of more than 5000 front-line service center associates across global AR, AP, Payroll, Procurement, Real Estate and Facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of design experienceHave an available online portfolioExperience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AjaxExperience applying scrum to visual or UX design processesExperience with UX design of complex workflows

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
