Division of Diagnostic Neuroradiology
serves the
University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC)
and its affiliated hospitals. UMMC is a 800 bed acute care hospital featuring a
Neurocare Center of Excellence
and the renowned
Shock Trauma Center
. Our division comprises 9 faculty members, closely collaborating with 4 neurointerventional surgeons. State-of-the-art equipment includes
High-Field MRI scanners
,
Simultaneous PET-MRI
, and an
MRI-guided focused ultrasound system
. The division plays an integral role in the
Maryland Center for Advanced Imaging Research
, in addition to a robust clinical and educational program.Responsibilities
encompass active engagement in the department’s educational mission, including involvement in radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship program and partnerships with the School ofMedicine.
