The Indivisible Project is hiring a Major Gifts Manager or Senior Manager, depending on experience. This position will work closely with the Development Lead and Co-Executive Directors to lead major gifts fundraising at Indivisible, meeting an ambitious multi-million dollar target in 2018 by stewarding and cultivating donors who give $2500+.We are hiring for the Major Gifts Manager or Senior Manager position immediately in our Washington, DC office. The Major Gifts Manager position is full-time, with a minimum salary of $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The Senior Manager position is full-time, with a minimum salary of $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Indivisible provides a robust benefits package including full medical/dental/vision/life coverage, a discounted gym membership, and a 401(k) plan.Responsibilities:Build strong relationships with and lead stewardship for existing major gift donorsExpand our network of potential donors, effectively identifying and researching prospects and facilitating introductionsOrganize trips and small events across the country for co-executive directors and other leadership team membersDevelop and implement new stewardship, cultivation, and moves management approaches, writing clear strategies for new approachesWork closely with the digital team to develop and implement a strategy to identify and cultivate mid-level digital donorsPrioritize knowledge management, developing processes and systems to accurately and accessibly record key information and both past and future outreach, including via donor database and stewardship calendarCollaborate effectively across departments within the organizationAlign on core values and strategy of the Indivisible Project; manage 1-2 staff; possibly manage 2-3 short-term development consultants in target locations (TBC)Qualifications (Required):5+ years fundraising experience, with extensive major gift cultivation, stewardship, and moves managementDemonstrated experience meeting million+ annual targets in previous position(s)Superior writing skills, with ability to quickly and professionally prepare development materials (thank you notes, 1-pagers, proposals, etc.)Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills, with experience setting up systems and processes to ensure good knowledge managementQualifications (Desired):Experience fundraising with a political campaign preferredIdeal candidate would have experience as both a non-profit development professional and a political campaign finance professionalIndivisible, a project of The Advocacy Fund, is an equal opportunity employer.
