YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Position Overview:
We are looking for a godly man with a supportive family to lead our youth ministry and contribute to ministering to families. This role is central to our church’s vision of making and maturing disciples of Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20). He will develop systems and structures that support multi-generational discipleship, with a primary focus on discipling the High School and Junior High youth to grow in their faith and become lifelong followers of Christ.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Youth Ministry
Leadership Development: Lead and build a strong team for the High School and Junior High ministries, including parents, students, and volunteers.
Biblical Instruction: Teach and preach God’s Word regularly to students and their families, ensuring clear and sound doctrine.
Program Coordination: Oversee the various youth ministry teams, such as worship, event planning, and youth leadership.
Culture Building: Create a culture focused on discipleship and outreach in the Youth Group, integrating the core values and involvement in the wider church body.
Relational Engagement: Actively shepherd the students and parents, providing guidance and support.
Budget Management: Help create and manage the Youth Ministry budget, ensuring responsible use of resources.
Family Ministry Focus
Collaborative Discipleship: Work with our children’s ministry director and young adult leaders to ensure a smooth discipleship journey from childhood to adulthood.
Family Equipping: Partner with our church leaders to strengthen marriages and equip parents to disciple their children at home.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies or a related field, or equivalent ministry experience.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in student ministry.
