Job Description:At Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach, we believe guests select our hotel because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences.The Event Sales Manager’s primary role is selling, the achievement of their individual revenue goal, and the servicing of their events, primarily for the Catering and Banquet Food and Beverage departments. Duties also include contract review, event deposits, menu planning, agenda setting, hotel planning services, and payment collection.The Event Sales Manager also hosts hotel tours, maintains strong customer, community, and brand relationships. This position participates, and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and works as a team member with the sales, events, and operations staffs.Hotel associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.
