Tradeweb is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and data-driven Data Sales Manager to join our team and lead the management of our data sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through the strategic management of data products and services. They will oversee the sales team, develop sales strategies, design and monitor key performance indicators to measure team success, and build strong relationships with clients to help Tradeweb meet and exceed sales targets.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities though prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and leveraging data and product teams to best target team efforts.
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Collaborate with Tradeweb platform sales, marketing, and product development teams to optimize sales strategies, offerings, and marketing/sales collateral.
Monitor, prepare, and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to the team and to management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention; leverage data to monitor these relationships and target resources to retain clients at risk.
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to data sales and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field with a quantitative focus; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
Proven track record of success in financial data sales or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in sales management and significant experience leveraging data in sales and marketing efforts to achieve this success.
Deep understanding of financial data products and services, including knowledge of standard use cases and contractual terms for financial data.
Strong proficiency in CRM software and sales management analytical tools; Salesforce preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $200,000 to $300,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
