Performs operations necessary for calibration of equipment that may include testing, adjusting, and maintaining measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.Performs highly supervised, routine calibrations of laboratory and/or production equipment, following SOP and in accordance with GMP.Provides assistance to more senior technicians on daily tasks.Accurately follows oral and written procedures in calibrating basic measurement equipment, and performing testing procedures.Recognizes deviations from the normal results.Requires some of the requisite skills to perform the required tasks of the position at this level.Receives detailed instructions on all work. Work is closely monitored and generally reviewed by supervisor. Some site to site travel may be required.Qualifications
• Experience:
3 to 6 years
.• Skills: This person must have prior experience working in the Allston Landing Metrology Department. This is a must have skill. It is not negotiable.• Education: A high school education is the minimum required.
