International Tax Senior - Bilingual Japanese
We are a distinguished regional CPA firm known for our expertise in international tax services catering predominantly to Japanese clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing Federal and multi-state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcy, and trusts and estates.
Handling complex accounting and tax issues efficiently.
Performing both basic and advanced tax research on various topics.
Developing and maintaining robust relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Identifying tax planning and consulting opportunities to add value to client interactions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Business Administration.
At least 2 years of tax-related work experience, preferably in a public accounting firm setting.
Must be on the track to obtain a CPA license or already certified.
Strong attention to detail alongside excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to understand and navigate complex tax and accounting issues.
Authorized to work permanently in the United States without needing future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced competencies in tax software and tools relevant to tax preparation and research.
Robust understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
Proven track record of handling high-net-worth individual returns and complex tax scenarios.
Experience in tax consultancy and advisory roles.
Skills:
Mastery of both English and Japanese languages.
Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
High degree of self-direction and an entrepreneurial work ethic.
Demonstrates advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong proficiency in using tax software and the ability to adapt to new technology quickly.
