Salesforce Automation Tester

Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $115,000.00 AnnuallyPOSITION SUMMARYThe Salesforce Automation Tester will work with the Information Technology department and the Quality Management team members, helping to deliver applications built in the Salesforce technology stack, providing quality assurance and automated testing development for a multi-project pipeline of work. This role will support the team by using testing best practices to ensure quality is built in and inherent to team delivery. This position should serve as the quality champion and will help with software delivery practices such as shift left testing, automation, and continuous integration.PRIMARY TASKS/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEnsure all project teams follow the quality standards developed and implemented by the Quality Management group.Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts in the Provar Automation environment.Collaborate with company stakeholders to gather automation requirements, design automated tests and implement scalable test automation solutions.Build and improve the quality of the automation framework.Validate that software performs to acceptance criteria.Participate in internal and external Quality Audits and make changes in Quality Management process and procedures, as needed.Prepare and develop test strategies and test plans using Provar Manager.Evaluate and test software applications to verify programs function according to business requirements.Monitor, manage and communicate with developers on defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.Provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.Drive established Quality Management practices and methodology within assigned projects.Continually look for opportunities to streamline the QA function and improve the quality of the IT products and services.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLSBachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.5+ years Software Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control experience.3+ years of exposure and experience with Test Automation.3+ years of experience in Salesforce and Salesforce testing.Advanced knowledge of Page Object Model (POM).Working knowledge of Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Capado, etc.Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques and tools.Understanding of software lifecycle through deployment strongly desired.Strong programming skills in the development of Test Automation framework using Selenium, Provar, or similar tools.This is a remote position and MCIC Vermont will consider applicants from the following states: CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MI, NC, NY, NJ, PA, VA, WI, OH and TX.MCIC Vermont provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
