AVX Aircraft is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, systems administration, cloud technologies and ensuring robust security and compliance. Your expertise in Linux, Proxmox, RedHat, and Azure will be critical in supporting and enhancing our infrastructure and deployment processes.Key Responsibilities:CI/CD Management:
Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab. Ensure efficient and reliable build and release processes.System Management:
Administer Linux systems, focusing on stability, security, and performance.Monitor system performance, availability, and security, ensuring all systems are up to date and functioning optimally.Automate routine system administration tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Python, Go).Implement and maintain backups, disaster recovery plans, and regular system updates.
Cloud & Virtualization:
Develop and manage infrastructure on Azure and on premises. Oversee Proxmox and RedHat environments, including virtual machines and containers.Infrastructure as Code:
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform and Ansible.Security Testing:
Implement Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.Reporting:
Create comprehensive reports on code testing coverage, vulnerability analysis, software bill of materials (SBOM), and observability metrics to ensure compliance and quality standards.Collaboration:
Partner with development teams to align DevOps practices with project goals and enhance overall system efficiency.Automation:
Develop automation scripts to streamline processes and improve deployment efficiency.Qualifications:Experience:
7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).CI/CD Tools:
Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.Systems Administration:
Extensive experience in Linux system administration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.Virtualization:
Hands-on experience with Proxmox and RedHat environments, including managing virtual machines and containerized applications.Cloud Platforms:
Strong knowledge and experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and scaling of applications.Testing:
Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices to ensure software quality.Soft Skills:
