Director of Global ProcurementAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Senior Manager of IT Sourcing
to lead and optimize our IT sourcing strategies, vendor relationships, and procurement processes. This is a high-impact role where you will drive value across the organization by ensuring competitive, cost-effective, and efficient sourcing of technology services and products. Reporting to the Director of Global Procurement, you'll collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and other business units to support our company's ambitious growth and digital transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and Execute IT Sourcing Strategies:Craft and implement sourcing strategies for software, hardware, cloud services, telecom, and IT consulting to meet both short-term and long-term business objectives. Leverage industry best practices to ensure a balanced and competitive vendor portfolio.
Vendor Management and Negotiation:Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management. Establish strong partnerships with top-tier technology vendors, negotiating contracts that maximize value, minimize risk, and align with budgetary goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with IT, Legal, Compliance, and other departments to align on technology requirements, ensure contract compliance, and manage risk. Act as a strategic advisor on sourcing and vendor management matters.
Cost Optimization:Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities while ensuring high standards of service and product quality. Continuously evaluate new vendors and technologies to enhance the company's procurement processes and reduce costs.
Compliance and Risk Management:Oversee compliance with internal policies and legal regulations related to data security, data privacy, and software licensing. Conduct periodic reviews to mitigate potential risks and ensure adherence to procurement best practices.
Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sourcing specialists and analysts. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across the sourcing function.
Qualifications:Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Experience:7+ years in IT sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing large-scale IT contracts and multi-million-dollar budgets.
Skills:Strong negotiation and contract management skills.In-depth knowledge of IT sourcing across hardware, software, cloud, and telecom categories.Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage complex vendor relationships.Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.Familiarity with procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) is a plus.
Certifications:Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE), or similar are advantageous.
