Appian Systems Developer

, who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software solutions to meet the organization’s needs, with a strong focus on Appian, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dynamics), and other low code technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software development, the ability to work in an Agile environment, and a desire to grow their technical skills.This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs, participating in Agile Methodologies, Troubleshooting & Support, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement while adhering to development best practices.Skills, Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.Appian Developer Certification is required.Certifications in other relevant programming languages, cloud platforms, or development methodologies are a plus.3-5 years of professional experience in software development.2-5 years of experience in Appian development, including the design, implementation, and deployment of Appian applications.Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics.Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, with a strong understanding of iterative development and continuous improvement.Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, MariaDB, or NoSQL databases.Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable applications.Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and development practices.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or workflow automation tools.Familiarity with any relevant systems or platforms like SharePoint, document management, etc.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control).Background in supporting non-profit clients and organizations.
