We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing our cloud infrastructure, implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. Your expertise will play a critical role in bridging development and operations, while also supporting our growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK, Serverless Framework, and Terraform.Kubernetes Administration: Administer and configure Kubernetes clusters, including scripting and automation for deployment and management.CI/CD Implementation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline software deployment processes and enhance deployment frequency and reliability.Scripting & Development: Utilize TypeScript and Node.js for scripting and developing tools to improve automation and operational efficiency.Establish reference DevOps architectures and best practices.Function as a thought leader within the organization for DevOps practices and tools.Serve as an expert resource within the team for DevOps technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and Kubernetes.After-Hours Support: Provide occasional after-hours support for critical incidents or deployments as needed, ensuring system reliability and performance.Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define and implement best practices for software deployment and infrastructure management.Monitoring & Optimization: Set up monitoring and alerting systems using tools like New Relic, DataDog, and Grafana to ensure system performance and reliability.Required Skills:Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS cloud services and proficiency in IaC tools (CDK, Serverless, Terraform).Kubernetes Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration, including configuration and scripting for cluster management.CI/CD Practices: Proficient in using GitHub Actions and other deployment tools for software deployment.Programming Skills: Solid experience in TypeScript and Node.js for automation and development tasks.Preferred Skills:Full Stack Development: Background in full stack development to enhance collaboration with development teams and improve deployment processes.Network Topology Understanding: Good understanding of network topology and security principles to ensure robust infrastructure design.Additional Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with Azure cloud services, Heroku, and their respective deployment methodologies.Monitoring Tools: Experience with New Relic, DataDog, and creating Grafana dashboards for monitoring application performance and infrastructure health.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA collaborative and innovative work environmentFlexible work arrangementsGeneral Compensation Disclosure:The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
