Summary:
The Dual Director of Sales develops and implements the total sales and marketing strategy of two or more hotels located in the same market to ensure that joint occupancy, average daily rate and market share goals are achieved.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage sales staff and reservations to ensure maximum revenue, promotional coverage, and marketing opportunities are achieved.
Work closely with revenue management and marketing functions to develop strategies to maximize REVPAR and grow market share.
Maintain and promote teamwork with effective and clear communication with coworkers.
Ensure hotel meets or exceeds budgeted goals.
Follow and track company cross-sell procedures.
Create a focus on attracting new business.
Review and approve any special corporate negotiated rates.
Lead on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.
Oversee and ensure the updating of rates, promotions on hotel website, OTA's (online travel agents), GDS etc. without any rate parity.
Evaluate and drive the hotel’s participation in the various sales channels, market sales, event booking centers, electronic lead channels, etc.
Execute and support the operational aspects of business booked such as generating a proposal, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in the hotel industry required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
