YesJob Description:As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Linux, you will design, deploy, integrate and maintain Linux technologies to advance the mission. Your work in integrating Linux resources into a primary Windows Infrastructure across multiple classification levels will help our clients overcome evolving demands and missions.HOW A SENIOR PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Integrate Linux Systems (RHEL 7/8 and Ubuntu) into a primary Windows environment with Active Directory.Configure new Linux systems for customer use ensuring compliance with enterprise baselines.Integrate Linux systems with enterprise tooling (e.g., ACAS, Splunk, SolarWinds).Maintain patches across a diverse Linux environment.Ensure compliance with baseline requirements and enterprise policy.Develop an operating system lifecycle plan with integration of DoD STIGs.Monitor all solutions integrated via a centralized alerting system.Certify log management and forwarding to a single repository.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (Experience may be substituted).Required Experience:
Minimum 17 years supporting complex projects.Required Technical Experience:
VMWare management/administration; thorough experience with RHEL, Ubuntu.Security Clearance Level:
Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.Required Skills and Abilities:
Highly motivated, self-starter; ability to work independently.Location:
