About the RoleAs a Financial Analyst, you are responsible for the forecasting, reporting and analysis of cost centers. Monitor actuals and ensure that cost center actuals are reported according to Accounting / Harman / Samsung policies and procedures. The role will collaborate with commercial business leaders to support the growth and profit objectives for the North America region of the Lifestyle Consumer Audio business. The role also supports major corporate and global initiatives. The North America region is headquartered in Northridge, CA with annual revenues of over $1 Billion.Your TeamYou will report to the Manager, FP&A for Lifestyle Consumer Audio for the North America region.What You Will DoPrepare cost center expenses for forecast and budget cycles, aligned with organization goals.Generate and analyze cost center reports to provide insights on budget, forecast and variances.Collaborate with cost center owners to understand and address any discrepancies in the reports.Contribute to the development and improvement of models used for forecasting and budgeting.Work closely with the FP&A Manager to provide data-driven recommendations to optimize costs.Partake in month-end activities by reviewing results, identifying trends, and analyzing variances.Maintain financial accruals to ensure accurate reflection of financial obligations.Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management.Maintain report of non-PO (Purchase Order) invoices. Analyze data to identify patterns and root causes.
