About the Team It is an exciting time to join our ambitious and growing Income Tax Reporting and Compliance team. The team is responsible for DoorDash’s US, state, and foreign income tax filings and also DoorDash’s global US GAAP income tax provision.

About the Role DoorDash is looking for a Tax Provision Manager who will be primarily responsible for our US GAAP foreign income tax provision computations. This role will report to the income tax senior manager.

You will be responsible for the interim and year-end ASC 740 calculations for our foreign entities. This role will engage with cross functional business partners and outside consultants in the preparation of foreign tax provisions, utilizing the Oracle TRCS Tax Provision software for foreign jurisdictions. You will scale processes for growth, taking them from manual to automated. You will be included in meetings simply to facilitate growth - even if not your current remit.

Lead foreign aspects of DoorDash’s global annual and interim consolidated income tax reporting, including income tax provisions, tax forecasting, tax account reconciliations, RTPs, and FIN48.

Assist with the statutory income tax provisions.

Monitor, analyze and consult with outside service providers on tax regulatory developments, tax law changes and other authoritative guidance and document the related tax accounting impact.

Develop and implement process improvements, utilizing technology where appropriate, over all aspects of the tax calculation process;

Develop proficient understanding of DoorDash businesses and internal financial systems and tools.

Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as necessary.

We’re excited about you because…

You have 6+ years of experience in a corporate tax role with responsibilities for tax provision (ASC 740), tax compliance, and tax audit, with the ideal candidate having Big 4 experience and/or technology industry.

Familiarity with US tax implications of foreign operations, including BEAT, FDII, GILTI, FTC, and Sec. 987.

You have demonstrated meticulous strong attention to detail and analytical, organizational, project-management and problem-solving skills.

You have your BA/BS Degree in Accountancy, or a similar field of study.

You are proficient with MS Excel, tax and accounting research tools, enterprise/general ledger systems, and tax provision applications.

You roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to drive results, even if it's outside your normal areas of focus.

You approach your role with a strong moral compass and integrity.
