Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurately posting manual and electronic cash batches, adjustments, and denials and reconciling posted cash batches.Scans live checks via the bank remote deposit process and prepares the daily WI deposit batches.Review all remittance advices for accuracy to identify errors or questionable data.Research and resolve unapplied/unidentified cash receipts.Reconciles payments and shortages for both paper and electronic EOBs.Accurately prepare Deposit Summary Sheet for each batch and balances to daily deposits.Assists with monthly close functions.Ability to meet individual and team goals with minimal errors as assigned by the A/R Supervisor/Manager. Uphold Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA compliance guidelines about billing, collections, and PHI information.Participates in educational activities and attends weekly staff meetings.Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Compliance policies, procedures, and standards are always adhered to.Ability to ensure administrative, physical, and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum two years of posting medical insurance payments experienceAbility to read and understand the different types of health insurance EOBsCommunicate and work effectively in a team environmentAbility to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructionsKnowledge of computer programs and business office proceduresAbility to operate a computer, 10-key by touch, and basic office equipmentMust be well-organized and detail-orientedAbility to meet deadlines and goals in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is requiredKnowledge of cash accounting and accounts receivable processFlexibility to work overtimeBenefits:
