The purpose of this job is to plan, develop, and direct the financial programs of the Housing Authority of Bowling Green while maintaining all financial systems in accordance with local, state, and federal government regulations.Responsibilities

Planning, preparing, and monitoring the operating budget for the Authority.Compiling and preparing monthly and annual financial statements for the operating budget using the prescribed formats as stated by HUD.Supervising all accounts payable and payroll functions.Maintaining and updating the chart of accounts on the general ledger.Approving all journal entries made into the accounting ledger.Preparing and submitting the Operating Subsidy annually to HUD.Serving as the Secure Coordinator for HUD/REAC Systems.Participating in annual independent audits.Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field required, with three to five years of management level accounting experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.Please deliver resumes to: Housing Authority of Bowling Green, Attn: Executive Director, P.O.
