The Kraft Heinz Internal Audit Department's vision is to add value by providing objective and innovative assurance and advisory services.
When performing our work, we evaluate risks, controls and governance processes. Further, we provide the board of directors, audit committee, and KH senior management reasonable assurance that the financial data used to make business decisions and to communicate to the public is true and accurate. We also identify business improvement opportunities (i.e. efficiency and effectiveness of operations) to make our business better. We accomplish our mission by recruiting and developing talent for the entire corporation, providing high-quality services to support the department's vision.Roles & Responsibilities:The Senior Internal Auditor
will execute internal audits under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager and Zone Audit Director. The Senior Internal Auditor will perform audits across multiple zones, including, US, Canada, LATAM Zones as well as global audits.Key responsibilities include:Conduct business process reviews so as to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over the business cyclesConduct business process reviews to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of operationsConduct reviews to assess the accuracy of the financial statementsConduct reviews to evaluate IT applications and the adequacy/efficiency of accounting, financial and operating procedures established for IT control purposesDetermine compliance with established Finance and/or IT policies and Sarbanes Oxley legislationPrepare reports based upon audit results, audit documentation, and client responsesEffectively communicate audit observations via update meetings and closing conferences with management personnelCommunication:Communicate effectively verbally and in writing by adopting appropriate communication style to individuals at all levels of the organization and remaining open to disagreement or new ideasArticulate understanding of business areas under review, and demonstrates thorough test work and solid rationale for potential audit issuesUpdate Audit Manager and Zone Audit Director as needed on audit progress and potential issues in a timely mannerLeadership:Develop an open and honest working relationship with those being audited and maintain a professional approach at all timesShare best practices, tools and testing methodologies with other team members, and contribute to departmental projectsDisplays leadership and project management skills to complete quality work on time with budgeted resourcesQualifications & Skills:Undergraduate degree in Finance/Business Administration, Accounting and/or in Computer Science, MIS, or other relevant field4+ years of experience in an audit related role within a Big-4 accounting firm and/or large corporation's internal audit department preferred. Additional finance experience would be a plusGeneral knowledge of risk/control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) requiredA professional accounting/audit certification (CPA, CIA, etc.) or IT (CISA, CIA, CISM, etc.) certification preferred . If not certified, a certification (CIA, CISA) will be expected within one year of joining the departmentFMCG/Manufacturing experience preferredSarbanes-Oxley experience preferredUS GAAP/IFRS experience preferredSAP knowledge preferredGoal-oriented and outgoing with strong interpersonal and teamwork skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to think and work analyticallyAbility to develop strong and lasting relationships with all levels of managementWillingness to travelMust fluently speak English and have the ability to speak other languages (Portuguese and Spanish a plus)The qualified candidate must be able to work with multiple organizations and teams, consistently meet deadlines and work well under time constraints and be able to quickly learn and understands diverse business areas/systems.
