Our employees currently support a variety of Defense and Civilian agencies.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Management Analyst to support the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion in the Armed Services (DACODAI), as established by the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2021, Section 551(d). DACODAI is tasked with advising the Secretary of Defense and the Deputy Secretary of Defense on matters of racial and ethnic diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within the Department of Defense (DoD), with a primary focus on military personnel. The Senior Management Analyst will be a key player in supporting research, coordinating meeting logistics, and follow-on items to guide DoD policies aimed at improving diversity and inclusion across all branches of the U.S. military.Responsibilities and Duties:Perform all scheduling, planning, coordination, support and execution of Board and Subcommittee meetings, including all efforts required before, during, and after these events. Meetings may be face-to-face, electronic or telephonic.Schedule meeting dates and times, arrange for (and book) conference and meeting locations and venues, in addition to providing all necessary administrative support. While most face-to-face meetings take place within the National Capital Region (NCR), others may take place outside the NCR on military bases or other locations.Meetings may be held in government-operated facilities or in facilities such as hotels or conference centers as determined by the Government for the successful completion of Board business while ensuring appropriate public access. Meetings may require short notice planning and execution, and some may be required to be held in compliance with Federal Advisory Committee Act "open meeting" requirements as indicated.Perform administrative support, including advance preparations and development of agendas, Federal Register Notices, preparatory notes; identifying and coordinating speakers and speaker slides and room preparation; sending invitations to members, guests, distinguished visitors, as well as members of the public as indicated for open meetings; managing attendance responses, and regularly providing board staff with attendance rosters. Communications, including those surrounding meetings and events must be clear, accurate and concise.Administrative meeting support also includes preparing scripts for open meetings; collecting and distributing required meeting materials such as reports, briefing slides and public statements; building binders or folders for members and certain identified attendees; having copies of required materials available to public attendees; providing notes to assist Board and staff leadership with the content of the meeting; and documenting meeting attendance and minutes.All efforts must be in accordance with applicable FACA regulations.In addition, meetings may involve discussion of classified material, thus requiring submission of appropriate security clearance information on attendees and submitting requests to conduct closed or partially-closed meeting.Contact the appropriate Service points of contact to coordinate any site visits in support of Board and Subcommittee meetings.Utilize the Defense Travel System to input travel arrangements for members, staff, and invited speakers, in compliance with DoD guidelines and the Joint Travel Regulations.Attend and support meetings, to include room set up, member and guest sign in, dial-in support, seating, preparation and distribution of meeting materials and handouts, and slide and presentation support as required.Provide minutes and executive summary reports of meetings.Consolidate and edit notes from members and staff into the appropriate format, highlighting due-outs identified in the meetings.Take notes of important decisions and salient points based on the specific instruction of military and DoD civilian personnel authorized by the COR using government judgment as the government determines matters that will require follow-up action and monitor required actions leading to task accomplishment.This support requires the contractor to stay proficient through continual review, analysis, distillation, and application of all related research in the scientific literature applicable to racial/ethnic diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in the U.S. Armed Forces, as well as research supporting and applications of technical packages, studies, and peer-reviewed evaluations of prevention and response interventions.As part of a research team, support a total of 5-7 research study topics will include the purpose of focus groups, strengths and limitations in conducting research utilizing focus groups, facilitation and moderating procedures and techniques.Develop briefing slides from the analyzed content from the fielded survey at up to 60 locations. Provide draft briefing slides, from the analyzed focus group content, in graphs, charts, and or bullets that effectively capture the interim Develop and provide a fully-edited written draft focus group report within 3 calendar days of focus group conclusion. This report shall include the analysis of the installation focus group sessions and mini-surveys.
