Capital Markets Associate Attorney

With over 125 attorneys spread across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, the firm excels in capital raising, advising on initial public offerings, and managing significant debt financings especially within the life sciences sector. As a part of this skilled team, you will be involved in shaping market strategies and financial solutions that influence global commerce.
Compensation:
$310,000.00 - $365,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Legal service delivery in capital markets transactions, including public offerings, private placements, and strategic financial securities offerings.
Collaboration within a diverse and dynamic team to develop efficient solutions for complex financial transactions.
Representation of national and international clients in critical financial matters, maintaining thorough compliance with regulatory mandates.
Active participation in sovereign bond offerings and assistance with cross-border equity and debt offerings.
Structuring and executing intricate financial transactions, promoting innovative capital-raising strategies.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
JD from a top-tier law school with a stellar academic record.
Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets.
Proven track record representing issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in diverse securities offerings.
Extensive knowledge of the 1933 Act and 1934 Act compliance requirements.
Experience gained from a large law firm environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with permanent capital operations and M&A activities.
Background in working with or knowledge of the life sciences industry.
Familiarity with international financial laws and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, concurrent complex projects under time pressure.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities.
Highly developed organizational and project management skills.
Detailed understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Professionalism in client interactions and commitment to client confidentiality.
