As an analyst on the Insider Threat team, you will partner with Ethics and Compliance, Human Resources, Legal and several other departments to identify and mitigate exposures to BD sensitive information. You have previous investigation experience, effective analytical skills, and are comfortable providing fact-based reports to various levels of the organization within a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work with a high degree of independence and effectively interact with associates from entry level to Executive Vice Presidents. You will be accountable for setting your own work direction and completing investigations.Essential Job Functions:
Investigate possible violations of BD’s Information Security policies, Code of Conduct and other applicable policies.Manage crises and deliver investigation recommendations by collecting, evaluating and disseminating accurate and timely intelligence information to appropriate stakeholders, including leadership teams.Conduct interviews and provide appropriate reports to key stakeholders which summarize the findings.Trusted to handle confidential situations and data.Perform forensic analysis on various devices:Properly acquire, preserve and process electronic data to industry standards.Assist with cyber incident triage and forensics evaluation for cyber threats.Basic Qualifications:
Strong leadership and influence management skills and the ability to function effectively in large matrix organizations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong coaching and mentoring skills.Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and programs to all levels of the organization.Experience and knowledge of PC/database operations.Proven ability to earn the trust of leaders within the organization, including senior leaders. Proven ability to mobilize, motivate and direct a matrix team towards a common vision and common set of objectives.Proven ability to resolve conflict (striving for win-win outcomes). Proven ability to deliver tough messages in a professional manner. Proven ability to act independently and to execute with limited information and ambiguity.Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.GIAC certifications, EnCE, CFCE a plus.Experience with EnCase, FTKImager, open-source forensics tools, and Cellebrite/other mobile forensics methods.Detail-oriented with the ability to promptly assess documents for accuracy as well as consistency.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others in a positive and effective manner.Ability to work in a team environment.Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.2 years of experience in Information Security, ideally with a SOC or insider threat team.Physical Demands:
