We believe your success becomes our success!Who You AreIn your role as Director of Finance, you will support the CFO and be responsible for helping to manage the financial reporting, policies, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities of our portfolio of franchise businesses. You will need to have a strong understanding of GAAP, industry experience, and some public accounting experience.We offer a work environment that is team-oriented, fast-paced, and fun. To maintain this culture, we seek out the best people to join our team and so we offerCompetitive compensation packageGreat medical insurance options (100% of medical premium is paid)401k matching up to 5%Bonus PayUnlimited PTOOpportunities to grow and be promoted!Primary DutiesManage the day-to-day accounting operations of the assigned portfolio companiesEnsure compliance with GAAP and other accounting principles and standards.Help prepare financial reports and analyses for senior management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (P&L’s, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements).Be our expert in financial forecasting.Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and forecast process, including monitoring actual performance against budget.Assist in the company's tax compliance and planning activities.Help develop and implement internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.Be the financial partner for CEOs of our portfolio companies.Qualifications and ExpectationsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA with audit experience.6+ years of experience in industry and/or public accounting.Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and standards.Multi-brand and multi-location experience.Proven leadership of accounting team.D2C experience preferred, specifically in food and beverage.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.If you are a driven and motivated accounting professional and want to advance your career, we would love to hear from you.
